If my company would diversify into other products or businesses of my choosing I would opt to pursue related diversification. This is because there would be new variety of products offered to the consumers along with similar kind of experience of buying similar products from my organization. I would be able to identify the level of diversification desired by the brand-loyal and the not-so-brand-loyal customers. If I would try to invest in unrelated diversification; there might brand-loyal customers and the not-so-brand-loyal customers not trusting in the new types of unrelatedly diversified products offered by my organization.
